Position Summary
As an US College Admission Senior Counselor, you will work directly with students and take charge of their application to top universities in the US (and other English speaking destinations), helping them to prepare all necessary documents and follow their submission plan to maximize the success rate. The Senior Counselor is expected to exercise sound judgment and maintain GPA Group’s ethical standards in all professional and business-related situations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other counselors and academic staffs to ensure all components are completed before schools’ deadlines.
- Guide students and parents on choices of universities and consult them to complete the applications to universities.
- Guide students on building their own extracurricular activities.
- Guide students on completing Letters of Recommendation, CV and application forms such as Common App.
- Guide students on sending English proficiency tests (IELTS/TOEFL) and Aptitude tests (SAT/ACT).
- Guide students and parents to apply to student visa.
- Deliver excellent customer services to clients
- Mentor and guide junior members on maximize quality and results of applications.
- Mentor and guide junior members on delivering customer services to clients. Meet with critical parents and students of whom junior members take care when necessary.
- Guide and comment junior members on strategies of each student case.

Requirements
- Priority giving to graduates from US colleges/ candidates with experience in education or overseas studying consulting
- At least 3 years of experience working in the similar position
- Proactivity, open-mind and great communication and organizational skills
- Great attention to detail and absolute accuracy
- Ability to research, report and analysis information
- Passion to meet, help, and inspire young people
